1. Water Restoration Technician (WRT)

Overview:

The IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is an essential introduction to the science and practice of water damage restoration.  The class is based on the IICRC S-500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration. 

The course presents all of the basic concepts of water damage, its effects, and techniques for drying materials and structures and provides the background to understand the procedures necessary when dealing with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.

2. Fire and Smoke Remediation Technician (FSRT)

Overview:

The IICRC Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician course concentrates on how to effectively and successfully complete the restoration of a fire and smoke-damaged environment.   

Students will learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to job site management and how it relates to pricing the job.

3. Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)

Overview:

The IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course is designed to teach the art and science of carpet cleaning to professional service providers, as well as others in related industries.  

Emphasis is placed on practical application, identifying fiber, yarn, and carpet constructions, style types, and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology, and other issues and concerns faced by individuals who maintain and clean installed broadloom carpets.

4. Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup Technician (TCSCT)

Overview:

The IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course is designed to teach the art and science of carpet cleaning to professional service providers, as well as others in related industries.  

Emphasis is placed on practical application, identifying fiber, yarn and carpet constructions, style types and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology, and other issues and concerns faced by individuals who maintain and clean installed broadloom carpet.

5. Odor Control Technician 

Overview:

The IICRC Odor Control Technician is a one-day course that covers olfaction and odor, odor sources, detection process, theory of odor control, equipment, chemical options, and applications.

Students will learn to address odors caused by biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, mold, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals. 

Every home, building, and vehicle provides the opportunity for odor remediation services. Odors caused by smoke, water, pet problems, cigarette smoke, cooking, skunks, dead animals, and bacteria can all be remediated. Millions of dollars in property is replaced every year due to odor problems.  This class will teach you how to salvage and restore much of this discarded material.
