Overview:
The IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is an essential introduction to the science and practice of water damage restoration. The class is based on the IICRC S-500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration.
The course presents all of the basic concepts of water damage, its effects, and techniques for drying materials and structures and provides the background to understand the procedures necessary when dealing with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.

The IICRC Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician course concentrates on how to effectively and successfully complete the restoration of a fire and smoke-damaged environment.
Students will learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to job site management and how it relates to pricing the job.

Overview:
The IICRC Odor Control Technician is a one-day course that covers olfaction and odor, odor sources, detection process, theory of odor control, equipment, chemical options, and applications.
Students will learn to address odors caused by biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, mold, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills or volatile organic chemicals.

Odors caused by smoke, water, pet problems, cigarette smoke, cooking, skunks, dead animals, and bacteria can all be remediated.
